Post the dates you need covered for free and we go to work to find you a fill in doctor. If we find you a doctor, your account is charged $10 and you can check out the doctor's profile, references, and reviews.  You'll have their contact info so you can get in touch with them directly to confirm the job details. You can cancel a booking for any reason and we go back to work to find you another doctor.

If you receive a bid, you can check the doctor's profile and either accept or decline their bid.  When you accept a bid, the doctor will be booked and you can get in touch with them.

After the doctor works at your office, you pay them directly for their optometric service as you normally would.  Then you leave a review for them on FIED and they will do the same.

When a doctor books your fill in job it's just $10 per date and you'll get the doctor's contact info so you can get in touch with them right away. If we don't find you a doctor, there's no charge.

When you accept a doctor's bid, the booking is confirmed and your account is charged $10.

FIED service fees are nonrefundable.  FIED fees are very low and are charged to connect doctors for jobs, but since we cannot obligate employers to hire the doctors that book or obligate the doctors to work, we are unable to offer any refunds.

If a doctor wants to book your fill in job but they think the pay is too low, they can submit a bid for the pay they would like to earn. We'll notify you so you can check their profile and either accept or decline their bid. If you accept a bid, the doctor will be confirmed and your account is charged the $10 booking fee.

If your pay is firm and don't want to receive any bids, you can select that on your job post.

It's free to post jobs! If we find you an applicant, there's a nominal $10 charge.  You can check out their profile and contact them directly to discuss the job details.

We understand, things happen. If your schedule changes you can cancel a booking any time and we'll go back to work to find you another doctor. You can also edit or delete a job post at any time.

We strongly encourage doctors and employers to honor their bookings, but as we all know, things happen.  If your doctor cancels their booking and you have questions, you can contact them directly.

Professional reference letters build a doctor's level of trust and reputation in the FIED community.  They can instill confidence as an indication of the doctor's personal and professional character. Doctors can request reference letters from their colleagues. If a doctor has received a reference you'll see it on their profile page.

You bet!  Once we connect you with an doctor, you're free to hire them as often as you want.  Our fees are for putting you in contact with doctors, regardless of whether you hire them or not.

Some of our doctors have chosen to post a "Doctor for Hire" ad to let employers know that they're available and looking for work. You can browse their ads to find doctors that match the your job.  If you find a doctor you want to contact, it costs $7 to access their contact info and get in touch with them.  Note, FIED cannot guarantee doctors will be available or willing to work according to the work preferences they have posted, therefore we cannot offer refunds.​

As an Employer, I understand the following:

Fill in Eye Doc is a service that connects me with optometrists that I may hire if I choose. I am responsible for hiring the doctor, and I have no obligation to hire a doctor that i find on FillinEyeDoc.com. I am responsible for entering the information that I select to be posted publicly on this website, and I will not hold Fill in Eye doc responsible for any consequences of the information that I submit in my job postings. I will compensate the doctor directly for the professional optometric services they render, should I choose to hire them, and payment for these services shall not be paid through FillinEyeDoc.com. Payment amount, method, or schedule, for theses services shall not be negotiated by Fill in Eye Doc, but shall be negotiated between myself and the doctor I choose to hire; however, I shall honor the payment information I submit on my job post as a minimum amount in the case of a payment dispute. The doctors that apply to, and book, my jobs are neither employees nor independent contractors of Fill in Eye Doc, and I agree that I will hold harmless Fill in Eye Doc against any liability and expense, including attorney’s fees, arising from claims of the doctor’s violation of any applicable statutes, regulations, or of any harm to my property, staff, or patients seen by the doctor at my office. This website, and any of its owners/operators, affiliates and third-party service providers, are not responsible or accountable for the actions of, or accuracy of information submitted by, job applicants (doctors) on this site; or for the conduct or professionalism of potential employers who hold accounts on this site. I agree that the information I include in my job postings is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge.

Fill in Jobs:

I understand it is free to post a job on Fillineyedoc.com and I agree to pay the service fee of $10 when a fill in doctor books my job.  I understand I will be charged $10 for each work date booked. The service fee is charged by FIED for providing a connection between myself and the fill in doctor, regardless of whether or not I hire them. I may choose to allow doctors to submit “bids” for the pay amount offered in my job post. If a doctor submits a bid, I may choose to accept or decline their bid and I am expected to respond within 48 hours. By accepting a bid I am agreeing to doctor’s bid amount and understand the doctor will be booked for my job. Once a doctor books my job, I will have access to the contact information the doctor has entered on their profile and they will have access to mine. I understand I may cancel a booking or delete a job post at any time, and that in no circumstances will there be any refunds, even if I choose not to hire the doctor for any reason. The doctor will have the opportunity to leave a review about their experience working for me as their employer, which will be visible on my job posts to other doctors.

Full Time / Part Time Jobs:

I understand it is free to post a job on Fillineyedoc.com and I agree to pay the service fee of $10 when a doctor applies to my job.  I understand I will be charged $10 for each doctor that applies. The service fee is charged by FIED for providing a connection between myself and the fill in doctor, regardless of whether or not I hire them. Once a doctor applies my job, I will have access to the contact information the doctor has entered on their profile and they will have access to mine. I understand I may delete a job post at any time, and that in no circumstances will there be any refunds, even if I choose not to hire the doctor for any reason. The doctor will have the opportunity to leave a review about their experience working for me as their employer, which will be visible on my job posts to other doctors.

Doctors for Hire:

If I decide to contact a doctor from the “Doctors for Hire” ads, I agree to pay the $10 service fee to access the doctor’s contact information. This fee is charged for facilitating contact between myself and the doctor and does not obligate me to hire the doctor, nor does it guarantee that the doctor will be willing or available to work based on the work preferences on their profile. There will be no refunds if I choose not to hire the doctor for any reason, or if they choose not to work for me.
